How long have you been serving in the Preschool Ministries of Willowbrook?

What do you enjoy most about volunteering?

Serving others and teaching kids God's Word.

Tell us about yourself.

I've been married to my husband, Thomas, for 10 years.  We have two girls, Ava and Ella, and I look forward to seeing if God will add to our family.  We homeschool and enjoy spending time outdoors enjoying God's creation.

Have a favorite Scripture verse?

I love so many verses, but Romans 8:38 - 39 is probably my favorite right now.

"For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

 

Caroline, Thomas and their sweet girls serve together as a family!  They are a precious part of the Preschool Ministries of Willowbrook!

Meet V.I.P Bob Fredrickson!

Bob volunteers in the Frog room (4 year olds) every other week along with his sweet wife, Denise!

How long have you been serving in the Preschool Ministries of Willowbrook?

What do you enjoy most about volunteering?

I love the interaction with our 4 year old Frogs!  When we pray, discuss our Bible story or just talk about what is going on in their life, it is a real joy and the rewards are many.  It makes my day to be with them.  I am thankful for what they give to me.

Tell us about yourself.

I grew up in northeast Ohio and have lived in Alabama since 1996.  I am a "Roll Tide" fan!  My wife, Denise, led me to Willowbrook and she is amazing.  I love her with all of my heart!  I have two Grandchildren, Mason and Molly Kate, and one on the way.

Have a favorite Scripture verse?

Philippians 4:13 - "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

Bob is one of the over 100 people it takes to make the Preschool Ministries of Willowbrook run smoothly on Sunday mornings!  We are so thankful for our volunteers! Thanks, Bob!

A VIP! (Volunteer in Preschool!)

Meet "VIP" Brian Sumners! 

He volunteers, along with his sweet wife Stephanie, every other week in the Kangaroo Room (4 year olds).

How long have you been serving with us in the Preschool Ministries of Willowbrook?

What do you enjoy about volunteering?

The kids! For that hour we live in their world and talk about things that are important to them.

Tell us about yourself.

I'm married to Stephanie and am the father to two cats.  By day I'm a mild mannered engineer, but at night we get to watch movies and I ride my bike.  War Eagle!

Have a favorite Scripture verse?

I have a hard time picking a favorite, but I received Psalm 51:8 after a particularly tough time.  I hope I will never forget it.  ("Let me hear joy and gladness;  let the bones you have crushed rejoice.") 

We are so thankful for our "VIPs!"
